ABOUT MUSIKFEST

International e-Piano MusikFest is an intensive piano and chamber music festival for motivated musicians with private lessons, chamber music instruction, masterclasses and performances.

Each participant will receive four individual private lessons, one masterclass instruction and will take part in at least two public performances (three if they participate in the Chamber Music portion of the MusikFest)

Participants may choose to take part in Chamber Music portion of the MusikFest. Chamber Music portion includes two coachings (one is a rehearsal with chamber musicians only and one is a lesson for the group with Chamber Music faculty member) and a Chamber Music performance.

There will be at least 10 public concerts at Lloyd Ultan Recital Hall. The final GALA performance will take place at the 1100 seat Ted Mann Concert Hall.

The faculty will award prizes for best performances of Classical, Romantic and Contemporary/Impressionist piece at the end of the Festival.

FEES:

Participant tuition is $1,500 USD. Tuition includes lessons, masterclasses, performances as well as the use of practice facilities. There is an additional fee of $100 dollars for those who participate in Chamber Music portion of the MusikFest.

Room and Board is $1,000 USD. Room and Board includes accommodations at the University of Minnesota Dormitory (based on double occupancy) and three meals a day.

Accompanying adult fee is $1,300 USD. The fee includes accommodations at the University of Minnesota Dormitory (based on double occupancy, other arrangements may be more expensive) and three meals a day ($1,000 USD), as well as the observer fee for all masterclasses and public performances ($300 USD).
